Cobra and Python

Snake skins are absolutely gorgeous. Snake skins are too thin to be used by themselves. Therefore Ruffner Products uses genuine leather as a backing for snake skins.

Crocodile

These hides need very little introduction. Crocodile skins are always a show stealer! These hides are incredibly tough and as a result difficult to work with.

Elephant

Yes, even elephants die. Besides being tough, these skins are very rich looking. Elephant skins are another hide that keeps ‘em guessing.

Ostrich

Ah, you cowboy boot fans know what it is, to the rest of the world, welcome to the ostrich hide! Ostrich skin is one of the few exotic hides large enough to make an entire bag. Ostrich skin is super soft, but tough, and always elegant to the touch! Try not to choke when you hear the price, though.

Ostrich leg hides can also be used. Ostrich leg skin has a prehistoric look to it.

Stingray

The stingray skins we use are covered with small pebble-like bony tissue. Sewing machines hate these skins but we love them. The boney texture makes a gorgeous handbag!
